SNCF X3800 "Picasso" . 7-wide french railbus with PF and RC. . This MOC is made to go with the MegaMOC 2011 of the (fictious) french town of Royville, France 1967. The model is pretty big compared to the skinny 6-wide Lego City trains. This one is 7-wide and meassures 57 studs long. (Exact 0-scale) The motorization is PF with RC. The low riding railbus leaves only one plate of air free over the track. Below are some photos of the turning bogies. There is no friction, and the train goes like a rocket. It can only negotiate the switches when the lever is pointing AWAY from the curve. -But has otherwise no problems with the sharp Lego-curevs. -And finally a photo of the real thing;
