Beaux Arts Mansion . A mansion in the Beaux Arts style. . A Beaux Arts mansion, 60 studs wide x 30 studs deep. Comments appreciated - let me know your feedback on the model, if you want different/more photos posted or how this page can be improved. It is constructed entirely with basic bricks and tiles (excluding the white and translucent pieces that form the windowpanes, the curved arch pieces, and the many lightsabers are used in the balustrades). For real world examples of Beaux Arts mansions, search for the following in google images: "Duke Semans mansion", "William Starr Miller House", "Joseph Raphael De Lamar House" The front elevation: The front and side: The front, side and roof: The base/first floor has heavy rustication: The second floor incorporates red brick with ornate limestone trim, topped with a 2 layer cornice. There are two main layers to the cornice. The red brick is set back relative to the limestone trim: The roof is steeply sloped and the edges are trimmed in copper: Can be seperated into three pieces for transportation and construction/modification purposes.
