B-2 Spirit - Stealth Bomber . The Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit (also known as the Stealth Bomber) is an American heavy bomber that has low detectable stealth technology meant to penetrate anti-aircraft defenses and deploy both conventional and nuclear weapons. The B-2 has a crew of two and can drop up to 80 500 lb (230 kg)-class JDAM GPS-guided bombs, or 16 2,400 lb (1,100 kg) B83 nuclear bombs. The B-2 Spirit is the only bomber that can carry substantial air to surface standoff weapons in a stealth formation. . This is my second stealth bomber I made; the first one was in micro scale, but this one is minifigure scale!! The large wingspan measures just under four feet. It has a cockpit, bomb doors, and fold-in landing gear. Hope you like it! The large intakes. An above shot. The "very difficult to make landing gear". :) A wing. The bomb doors open!! The conventional weapons rack. The spinning rotary launcher. Another shot of the bomb doors. ----The Inside---- An above shot of the inside. The cockpit with controls and instruments. The pilot and mission commander at the controls. A bed and toilet are kept on board for longer missions. A small meal-preparation area for longer missions. This photo of the bomber with next to my helicopter. (http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/269802) It gives you an idea of how big it is. You can use compare this pic of my stealth bomber with a picture of the real one below. The real one. Another shot you can use for comparison. Thanks for checking out my B-2 Spirit!! I hope you liked it!! :)
