Sig Fig/maps, flags, etc... . . My Sig Fig is general Njordr, meaning strong or vigorous. In mythology, Njordr is the name of a god of sailing who had the power to calm the sea and fire, but thats just a coincidence. Njordr (Nyur-dir) Is a good commander and an even better man. With countless battles under his belt, he can last in a fight. He genuinely cares about is underlings, and will listen to advice when it is given. He has received the launa viršing, which is the highest decoration in the Andoran Military. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the flag of andora, the creature Jörmungandr or the Midgard Serpent seen eating its own tail, circles the land of Midgard, eventually getting so large that it could reach around the whole world and grasp its own tail, terrorizing Midgard in the process. Eventually the God of thunder, Thor, challenged Jörmungandr to a duel. Thor eventually killed Jörmungandr but his poison was so potent, he killed Thor too. Jörmungandr Is on the flag to symbolize that you can never give up in battle, and if you are about to die and you have the chance, to die an honorable death, you have to take the enemy out with you. The two birds, Huginn and Muninn fly all over midgard, gathering countless amounts of information and bring it back to Odin. They are on the flag to symbolize that Iformation is key to any War, Battle or day to day activity. The epitaph on the bottom of the flag, "dauši įšr ósœmd" means death before dishonor, Which has kind of turned into a national motto. It means that any andoran would rather kill themselves than give information to the enemy. We also give the same treatment to our enemy POW's, we do not try to extract information and give comfortable housing in an encampment fro captured enemies. We will only try to gain information from defectors, but only by talking, we do not condone torture under any circumstance. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Group Emblem ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- New Babylon Blank Map. Tolkien-esque map of New Babylon that I made for the hell of it. The Divide and Conquer II map will be changing every week with expansion and whatnot, I have a blank one above but will not be uploading the current map to mocpages directly as mocpages will shrink it to fit and I cant have that. instead I uploaded it to Imageshack. the current map can be found on the home page here. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In case you are wondering what each of the units marked on the production chart are, I have created a list explaining it. -Also, sorry about the overly white text, one of the pictures for some reason turned it all black, so I had to code it to make it visible again.
