Lord of the Rings: "Helm's Deep" and "Minas Tirith" . This is my first MOC after the "Great crash of august", and also my last one before the MOColympics! I was inspired to do this one by my cousin. He's also a LEGO builder, and a huge fan of LOTR. . "The forces of Saruman The White make their way to the "Hornburg". The war machines are almost at the walls. Will the age of humans end here? At the battle of "Helm's Deep" The forces of Saruman: Orcs and Uruk-Hai. Helm's Deep and the "Hornburg" without the minifigs. The central part of the Hornburg. The tower... Okay, not entirely movie-accurate. But there are many versions, so this is mine. Backside. Not accurate, but I wanted to make it more interesting... "The great white city of "Minas Tirith". Or as I prefer to call it: "The great yellowed city of "Mini Tirith!" (You get it? 'Cause it's mini scale!!!) The other side of the city, some kind of symmetrical isn't it? The tower of Whatever it is called... It's the lage tower from the movie, happy now?? A Nazgul eye view... Because a bird's eye view wouldn't do... Fourth Brick Commentary : I've always wanted to do this, and I think it doesn't look awful. So maybe in the future, I will do more of these... Note: This was not entirely accurate, but more of an artist impression. It was also my first try at forced perspective. Like it? See you all in the Olympics! Greets, Jelle
