Motorized Tractor 8284 . Do you get tired from towing your LEGO tractor? Then you have to watch my motorized tractor 8284! My tractor can drive and steer. It can rotate and move up and down the ray hake rotary. All the functions works with a remote control. For this I only used power functions. . Watch my video: My motorized tractor looks exactly like the original version from set 8284. All the functions are still working but then motorized. The only difference is a couple of motors, IR receivers and a battery box. The tractor is made in Belville scale. So when you donít like the Technic boy figure you can put a Belville girl behind the steer. The tractor from set 8063 (red) is exactly the same as the tractor from set 8284 (green). Here you see them both together so you can see the difference between my motorized version and the original version. The fake motor works when you drive. For driving in the dark I put lamps in front and in the back of the tractor. Of course my tractor can drive, steer, rotate and move up and down the ray hake rotary too. How does it work? I used the XL-motor for three different functions. Move the fake motor, rotate the ray hake rotary and driving. So they all work at the same time. On the side view of the tractor you can see which gears go to which function. 1) is the XL-motor 2) the axle to fake motor 3) the axle to the ray hake rotary 4) the gears for driving. For moving the ray hake rotary up and down I used the original system. I only connected a M-motor with some extra gears to it. To make space for the motor I moved the worm wheel a bit to the left. For steering I used the original system, too. I also connected a M-motor to it. You can steer all functions from my tractor with a remote control. For this a put two IR receivers on the bottom of the tractor. With the speed remote control I can drive the tractor in seven different speeds. Bye bye, Anika Vuurzoon.
