Castle vignettes . This were my entries for a vignette contest held by my local LUG. The theme was Castle. All the vignettes were built over the course of two days. . Damsel This is probably my favourite of my entries. I had that figure lying around for quite some time, and even did four others including men. I wasn't sure what scale I should use for my Japanese trains. This would be the size of the figures, if I had built it in 1:30 scale using standard LEGO rails (6-wide rails). I decided that this scale was too parts intensive to include buildings and so on... The 1x1 brick with studs on opposite sides is actually tan. It doesn't exist in yellow, it's photoshopped for the pic, but it looks OK in tan as well ;) Black Death This was rather arranged than built. I don't even like it. Though a common tactic in the contest is, to disguise your own builds. The contestants are anonymous, the builders are revealed after the voting, and everyone is allowed to vote. That's quite fun. The frame is not mine, I got it from a free website, can't remember the link. ;) Attack of a Dragon This ranked 3rd in the voting and was therefore my best entry ;) The tents are built with these gears with some flex tubes in between. Falconer I like this quite a lot, simple but nice. The bird was photoshopped brown, but I found out later that they even exist in that color. The rabbit is not really my design, can't remember where I've seen it. There are probably more of them. Anyway, I used a white minifig hand for its scut, guess that's new. Witch-hunt Wine Press The cock is actually from the medieval market set, yeah, I am that lazy :P And perhaps you noticed, I used the same floor in three vignettes ^^ The frame is not mine, I got it from a free website, can't remember the link. ;) Sand Castle Hope you like them...or...some of them ;)
