Why?
Pittsburgh Marriott . . After creating an award trophy for Marriott last year, I was asked to additionally create scale models of eight different hotels around the United States. They were presented to the hotels themselves as awards for design, construction, collaboration, and and participation. This hotel is located in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. One of the things I love doing on most of my architectural models is making window shades randomly half-drawn, open, or entirely closed across the building. It adds a lot of life, detail, and realism in a way that you can't quite explain when you look at it but you can definitely feel it. Check out the other hotels I made for Marriott:
