Vidra and Monarth . . A new female torso and gotta say, I like it :) Here again, I'm filling the Elemental Universe with another character. Also I was kind of wondering how more of the stories on 'pages are more adventuristic. For a change I created here an emotional story for these two :3 Monarth (selfmoc) got here, because he got a little update on his chest, aswell that these two are quite a team. Also, this doesn't mean I have a girlfriend or anything, just another character in a story. Oh yeah, credit for BioRockDude for Vidra's hair design. The story is a bit long, telling about Vidra and Monarth's time in the training, aswell more background for Monarth's origin. I hope you find the patience to read the whole thing through and tell me what you think. I'm getting more determined to continue the story from this in DeviantArt, but I'm not completely aware where to write stories there. Silly me. Vidra and Monarth were both students under the guidance of Master Kronion. When Vidra first came to Kronion's guidance, she was very unconfident and Monarth had already been learning for an year, and gave just a quick look at her, when she entered the temple the students live and train in. Both were very talented with the element of shadow, and therefore Vidra was given the same weapon as Monarth and the two were put together as learning partners.
Monarth taught Vidra whatever he had learned from Kronion and wasn't easy on her, but still very supportive. At first it was more of a duty to train with her, but as Vidra's skills raised and her confidence aswell, the two had a bond of friendship forming between them.
For the training they fought together with their bladed spears and combining their shadow abilities to the fight. The speed was intense when the two were fighting, but Monarth was always the winner.
Near the end of Vidra's first year, she finally had her first victory over Monarth. Monarth couldn't help, but to start laughing, followed by Vidra, who helped him back on his feet. Hitting their spears together, their friendship was now confirmed.
Monarth came from a distant family, living in the hills of a nearby mountain. His father was a famous draken, known to have an important duty of a guardian, which lead to his end. Supported by his mother, Monarth went to the trials for elemental training. Lacking any friends, he was barely known by anyone, and walked to the battle stage ignoring the surroundings. The watching crowd stared at him, whispering to each other's ears, without knowing what to expect of him. There was only rumors about him, and not all of them were good. He was determined to prove himself worthy of being his father's son.
When the trial fight began, Monarth's anger over the surrounding people took over. He bursted in shadow and was ready to charge at his opponent. But then Kronion rushed in, grabbed him and carried to his temple. Out of confusion Monarth calmed down and turned normal. Kronion gave him a lesson about his powers, and how they could've killed his young opponent. Monarth almost started fearing himself hearing Kronion's words. But then Kronion said that he would train him to control the power he has. He was the only student that time. In between his psychic abilities also showed up and he was trained to control objects by mind. This was hard though as it was an extremely rare ability, which Kronion had never been teaching. Monarth had to figure most things out himself. This made him dive into his thoughts, burying most of his emotions. But when he trained with Vidra, his emotions started waking little by little, and in the end they were friends.
Vidra: Friends forever, right? Monarth: Right.
The two began sharing their thoughts and feelings. They often sat on the temple hill, just enjoying the nature and chatting together. Both of them loved looking at the skies at night and wondering whatever is out there. They promised each other to be always together, on any planet or universe. They would always stand by each other. Vidra: You'll never leave me would you?Monarth: Our friendship is more important than any duty.
Sadly for Vidra, their relationship seemed to be for Monarth just a friendship, while the same time she had fell in love with him. She couldn't help, but wonder what did Monath think of her and what would his reaction be, if she told him. She was unconfident by her thoughts and couldn't find the strength to tell him, even though it crossed her mind often.
That in the end was a mistake. Monarth got the offer of a guardian duty in Treadanus Nui, by the great beings. Monarth felt a duty in his heart, as during the times when Teridax was reigning in the Matoran Universe, there was a high risk of wrong use of Treadanus Nui's power. Monarth accepted the duty, but first insisting that Vidra could come with him. The beigns refused and Monarth left saying his last word to Vidra: "I'm sorry." Vidra's heart broke. She understood Monarth and still loved him, but him being so far was too much. She never had a chance to tell him her feelings about him nor giving a hug of a farewell.
She kept her mind strong, remembering Monarth's words to stay strong, but at times cried on her own, still wishing that Monarth would be by her side, comforting her... When her training finally ended a few years later, she was determined to find her love. She would open the gate between universes and jump through... Please rate and comment.
