Mociversary Prequel . A Journey through my first year on MOCpages in anticipation of the impending MOCiversary . Ok so who knew that at the age of 24 I would dig up the old passion for Lego and find there are hundreds of other AFOLs in an online community? Well - I didn’t know… I am now coming up to my 1st year anniversary on MOCpages, my 1 year build is currently in construction! So lets have a look at my journey as I come out of the dark years of internet gaming and back into the light of a real hobby! Note: All images link to corresponding MOCs, not larger images! My first upload was a small sample of my CAD work, more importantly – my name image! This was my first ever build in around 10 years. Imperial Truce For all those Technic lovers! This beast is packed of goodness! A small example of my LDD work. Id still like to see this dragon built in the flesh one day! My Mage Tower was my first MOC to make it to the front page! Cool! Micro Scale Monastery This Beach Resort model was my first MOC to get 50 likes! Thanks! This Waterfall Scene got many a compliment for the water technique, yet I’ve only used it once since :-S I blame the bad photography for the flop of Thunder Falls Tower. Though it did recently receive its 50th like. Thanks! (I was aiming for 80 LOL) Uploading on Christmas day is never a good idea – this Competition House is my most unnoticed MOC in the last 3 months! I rate it as one of my best builds ever. Pirates Remorse was my first MOC to get to the ‘Across MOCpages’ Bar, it was also my first MOC to get MOTD! Due to the MOTD it is now my first MOC to get over 100 likes. Thankyou to everyone for your support! After Pirates Remorse I was inspired to build a ship, this is what I came up with – no it is not even close to the Imperial Flagship. Killing time is always fun when your laying the smack on other fantastic builders – Heath you really are a good sport! Well now that you’ve been taken through the journey of my first year you can only anticipate the epic build I have in store for my Mociversary! I am working a treat which will hopefully pull in Lego lovers of all genres.
