Why?
Classic Literature: War of the Worlds . Team: Piece Out - 2011 MOCathalon. A Martian Fighting-Machine towers over the remains of some destroyed buildings. . Obligatory links: 2011 MOCathalon Team: Piece Out Not too much to say about it, it's basically self-explanatory. The tripod fighting-machine isn't completely accurate to the book's description; I took some liberties with the design, but it is still pretty close. It still has the hood-like head section, the heat-ray emitter disc, the tentacles, etc. Yes, I know the scenery is pretty bad, I'm pretty much entirely a Technic/Bionicle MOCer so not only do I have little knowledge of System building but I also just don't have the necessary System parts for a full background.
