Shadow V . Black Pearl... . It's not 'entirely' finished yet but I won't have time to do so in the nearby future, I'm posting this now because I will enter this ship in the Jolly Rodger Contest (II)
The Ultimate version will take much more time, the most obvious are rigging and sails but there are several other aspects that need improvement. Like the stern, which should be a bit longer, the forecastle lacks detail, anchors and cannons on the upper deck. overall I want to make it a more accessable ship; in its current state it's a pain to access the gun deck or the cabin;
I need to work on the masts as well and the brickbuilt hull definitely needs some work on the bow.
As you can read, a LOT of work...
I hope you enjoy this rather rough version for now and have patience for the final (which will have better pictures and video's btw )

Big pirate fans know the black pearl has 18 guns on the gun deck, implying 9 on each side, you can see only 8 guns here but if you look closely you'll notice the 9th gunport near the bow, I just forgot to place a cannon
I didn't build the whole ship, only the part above the waterline (what you see when the Pearl is on sailing on the sea)
this has consequences for the interior, there's no brig and hold because these are partially located under the waterline.
I'm gonna try fitting a brig in the bow...oh wait, that's where the galley has to be... in the rear then...but where should I stock the rum ?
oh well, the good thing is it HAS an interior, all I need to do is find a good way to show it off
the ceiling window from the cabin, you can actually see through it, I used a transparant panel, placed it horizontally and added the cheese slopes. The disadvantage is that when "up is down" the cheese slopes fall off :P
I'm very happy with how the cabin turned out, there's one problem I can't really solve though, there's no glass in the windows and I really can't think of a lego solution. do you realize how difficult it is to infuse a parallelogram in a build ?
