Why?
AT-TE Mod . Ok, here is our AT-TE mod that we made quite some time ago. THis is just to make it more fun to play with, not meant to be a grand creation or anything . This is a command-and-control AT-TE used by the 601st "Spartan" company (as in Michigan State, not Halo) After losing 4 gunners to small arms fire in a single battle, Commander Zed had his engineers move the fire-controls inside the AT-TE. While they were at it, they upgraded the weapons system to a double-barrel anti-armor canon. Here I just wanted to show how the rear panel is now attached to the rear roof (to free up space in the rear by getting rid of the bulky rear-panel mount): Inside the front section is the command center, with a main viewscreen, scanners, communications, and holo projector: In the rear compartment we have seating for a platoon of troopers, with two AT-RTs stowed in the very back: Close up on the two stowed AT-RTs:
