Silver Lake Fortress . . Well fortified and in an idealistic setting, this stone castle offers rest and protection for those in the Kingdom who can afford to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. My other castle creations can be found here. Ah yes, my sig figgy chatting it up with a fellow warrior. Lets get closer so we can hear a bit of the conversation. "No, the white plumes are not just for show! No no, they are not a hindrance!" The resident landscaper giving the garden grass a little trim. Seems he is nearly done. The elusive white ninja is slinking around again. My other castle creations can be found here. Well, it is what it is. I wanted to do a fortress with a large circular keep and a curved wall, and have most of it at an angle to the base, and this is what the ol hands put together. I don't know how many pieces are in it, but it is ~86 bricks high. Compared to my other castle creations, this went together very quickly. My son (he is 6) and I only spent a few weekends on it. It is now official! My building table is too small - upgrade time! I would really have liked to have put a bit more landscaping on this, and a decent entrance with a draw bridge and a guard tower. As always, I very much appreciate your comments and suggestions for improvement. Enjoy and thanks for stopping by!
