The Complex . Well I'm not one for big masterful plots as some of you may well know, but here goes: "It is the year 2103, a time of great strife and, uh..." Screw it, I'm not good at this. Alright so this military base arose out of 2 main goals. First, I wanted to create a complex floorplan with lots of corners and confined spaces for alien monsters to hide. Second, I wanted to challenge myself to break out of my box and use the old jungle baseplate as a jungle and not just build over it with grey bricks. Other than that all I wanted to do is make something with a sweet interior portal so I could take friggin' sweet pictures. The results are in... . Unloading and weighing candy shipments at the main entrance. "Would you like fries with that?" Mechanicman Jim is given clearance to enter the front gate. More candy shipments are weighed by the Octan Candy Company crew. Big Brother is watching you play video games during lunchbreak. Incidentally, so is the superior officer you failed to notice standing directly above you. The Buttbruiser anti-air cannon standing at attention. Military catwalks don't have the luxury of of handrails. Mechanicman Jim looking dashing as usual. The light at the end of the tunnel. Inebriated Bob takes an unauthorized break, hoping to go unnoticed by Mechanicman Jim. Sometimes alternative weaponry is required. "Lolwut?" Officer Dan sometimes skips guard duty to play in the woods. It's venison tonight! The modular design allows the base to be hidden away easily in case attractive girls suddenly visit.
