This file was compiled from the captain's log of the L.S.S. Camillar.
"We were exploring an area of space, not too far beyond U.N.E. control, where odd energy signatures were located by the U.M.R.C., and I was sent out to investigate. Piloting my heavy U.N.E. frigate, I figured that there was no chance anything could do signifigant damage to my ship.
"A few hours after we left U.N.E. space, we came across what the U.M.R.C. described ad a Mysterion: a cubic, multi-colored object with several attached devices. it maneuvered itself to a position in space, and just killed it's engines.
The mysterion had a large, diamond-shaped object, which was studded with crystals, attached to itself by two mechanical arms.
It had a massive amount of space crystals on a large array placed upon what I figured to be some kind of focusing array. (U.M.R.C. note: these crystals are supposedly harvested by Object 544.)
After the object coasted to a stop, the 'engines' started to shift out of place and scan over the empty space around itself. I now realized that they were turrets, and kept a sensor jammer active, just in case.
Not soon later, a red and grey Mysterion came into view, and headed for the larger one.
(U.M.R.C. note: this may very well be, due to the size of the object, a Mysterion frigate.)
The small mysterion floated not too far from the diamond-shaped aperture, upon which a strange event took place.
A strange beam was emitted from the large cluster of crystals on the object's front, creating some kind of energy field within the diamond shaped device. the smaller object approached the field.
At the same moment, one of the larger Mysterion's turrets stopped moving, and pointed at our location. the entire crew seemed to hold their breath....
The alarms blared loudly as an energy field identical to the one generated by the white Mysterion appeared on our stern. Another cause for alarm was that a Mysterion was emerging from the energy field.
(U.M.R.C. note: this field appears to be a portal, and would explain how Mysterion fleets can seemingly appear and disappear at will. Technology currently under investigation.)
The speed and maneuverability of my ship allowed us to have a quick retreat back into U.N.E. space, but we were constantly watching our backs after these events. I will, upon arrival at the nearest port, turn in this entry for U.M.R.C. examination, as I have been ordered.
