Toyota Trueno AE-86 . My newest beast :) . Here is what I have been working on this past summer. It is the famous Toyota Trueno AE-86, it is 16 studs wide and 38 studs long. It features working doors and hood along with a very detailed interior and an INSANELY good looking 2JZ-GTE engine which is taken from a Toyota Supra, where you can see the exhaust manifolds leading to the rear of the car, all the way to the slanted exhaust. This is my first 16 wide build and I hope you guys enjoy it :) EXTERIOR Front quarter shot Note the intercooler Another quarter shot Note the headlights Rear quarter shot Now an artistic shot And another Rear - note the slanted exhaust and the sport diffuser Side shot Top shot Another high front quarter shot INTERIOR The detailed door panels and interior Note the detailed seats and center console A shot from the rear window A shot showing off the dashboard A shot of the detailed trunk - note the strut bar A closer shot ENGINE Now for the crown jewel of this car - the engine. For this build i decided to put in the 2JZ-GTE engine. Recognize the name? It's form the newest generation of Toyota Supras, and the idea to put it into this car came form me and my friends making up funny engine swap combos, and this one came so I had to do it, and here it is. This done up version of the engine puts out 580HP and 550LBs-Ft of torque. Note the strut bar and the big turbos on the left Note the blue fuel rail, and the chrome intake pipe along with the intake manifold A darker shot A shot from the top - note the silver cam gears and timing belt An outside shot A shot with the hood taken off A strict engine bay shot Another shot with the hood off And another A shot of the under-carriage - note the exhaust manifolds and the exhaust pipe A closer shot of the bottom of the engine A shot with everything taken off A more slanted shot A shot of the entire interior A scale comparison with my United Striker And another form the side The bare engine taken out A side shot A shot from further back - note the twin turbos The engine bay without the engine - note the strut bar and the coil covers An artistic shot Another.... And the main photo (I think this one is the nicest of them all) A more direct shot of the engine Thank you for viewing all the pictures and I hope you enjoyed viewing as much as I did building! Coming soon is Project 980 :P No more can be said, But thanks again and Comment as well as Like and please 5 stars!!!
