Why?
Amphibious Battle Tank ABT-1 (IFV) . ABT, a vehicle that can ford rivers or land on beaches while still delivering heavy firepower. Technically an IFV. . The latest and greatest development by the Baltic Army. The Amphibious Battle Tank. Not the same size or firepower as a true MBT, this vehicle is instead designated as an IFV. It has one of the most versatile weapons platforms out there. With interchangeable weapons packages of 2-4 at one time, and the ability to traverse not only land, but water as well. Armament: Attached: 1 130 mm smooth or rifled main cannon. 1 50 cal machine gun. optional: 1 double barreled TOW missile system. 1 30 mm cannon. Main overview. Another overview. Side overview. The rear, showing the rear hatch, where soldiers can hitch a ride. The turret swung out. The turret up close, showing off the TOW system. The rear hatch open. A soldier climbing out of the hatch, ready to fight. A soldier and tank commander pose, to show scale. Here is the 30 mm cannon, it is detachable, like the TOW system. And now the ABT drives away towards its next target.
