HAS-15k "Punisher" . In the farthest reaches of humanities colonization efforts of the far gone past, the mass produced vehicles of war don't exist. . The Heavy Assault Shuttle Mark 15 variant K, is the most common police craft in the border colonies. When colonization was carried out, the Heavy Assault Shuttle was the most common vehicle used by the colonists. The colonies did not develop much technologically, and still use the same basic design. The "K" variant is very popular with police organizations in the border colonies. Because this model has tandem operators, one focus' on flying, the other on weapons management. Although by earth standards, the shuttle is incredibly out dated, almost museum worthy, it is one of the most advanced crafts in the borderlands. Variant K features dual particle beam dishes, each capable of varying firing angles, and can cause precision damage. The craft is used almost exclusively in space, due to the fact that it is very unstable in the atmosphere, and has cost some lives during training. TOP ANGLE This model is shorter than the original craft, this is because the shuttle compartment has been removed. The original HAS was not equipped with landing gear, and simply landed on its belly. However once the rear lift engine was added to help lift the newer back heavy craft, it became necessary to add landing gear. The shuttle is operated by two officers, each specially trained to operate the craft.
