Scania R620 V8 'The Big Swede II' . An updated version of my Scania V8, now with new colours, more accessories, and updated design. . When i finished the first Scania a while ago, I was happy with the technical aspects of it, but the outcome was a bit too red, and some commented that also correctly. Browsing through my big collection of truckshow pictures I found inspiration for a complete rebuild. The first step was to remove the cabin and change the colours of the chassis a bit. The edges of the frontfenders were changed to black together with the rear fenders. The boxes were removed and replaced with new ones with a new design with doors that hinge horizontally instead of vertically. The rearbumper was fully removed and made place for a newly designed rear session colourtrimmed to the rest of the chassis and a bit chrome off course. The coverplate for the chassis was added with colour accents to fit the rest of the design. The cabin itself was dismantled to change the lower section completely with new colours. The inspiration for the new colours came from the Eurotruck scene, and is mainly inspired by the Scania’s of Belgian Ronny Ceusters. The cabin was altered to a Highline type, with the rearskirts removed to show the exhausts. All in all about 1000 plus bricks were changed and many new features were added. And some family pictures together with the Peterbilt 379 'Radically Topless'.
