CYGNUS ===BS42 . Welcome to the next installment of my obsession......THE CYGNUS... . ..THE CYGNUS HAS BEEN DECOMMISSIONED ... 12 April 2010 This is my version of the Battlestar Cygnus. I have slightly made it huge and had a lot of sleepless nights figuring out some details This beast measures 1700mm x 710mm and weighs 12.5kg and this creation contains 9815 parts. I managed to construct this one lighter than my Galactica by using a different technique but the size of it makes it hard to move around easily It is entirely self supported and the only mistake was the stand was to small and not far enough to the rear of the ship. I still have kept the Galactica and now the Cygnus dwarfs it and they are not to scale with each other but the small shuttle craft is. Unfortunately the Baseship was attacked by the colonials "can't they leave the toasters alone " by your COMMAND destroy the Cygnus ....... Thank you for having a look and stay tuned for the next model and some fun action scenes with the Baseship and the Cygnus
