Why?
AD-15A Dagger Air-Superiority Fighter . The latest in ESC Air Superiority. The Dagger, as it has come to be called by its pilots, is extremely fast and manueverable. . The AD-15A Air Superiority Fighter. Extremely agile and fast, and very heavily armed. The AD-15A can achieve cruise speeds of Mach 2, and combat speeds of 300 to 350 mph. The belly of the AD-15A and its payload. The fighter itself has hardpoints for missile and bomb payloads. Also located on either side of the foreward fuselage are machine guns for fighter to fighter dogfighting. The Dagger and its payload of missiles. This configuration features 4 MRAA missiles (shorter wing mounted), 2 LRAA missiles (mounted next to the engines), 2 Multipurpose Strike Missiles (foreward underfuselage), and 2 Flechete missiles (white bodies). Other types of missiles can be interchanged with each other. The side profile of the AD-18A. The engines mounted beneath the wings are the Primary engines, though the engines located between the wings and the tail stabilizers are capable of afterburner. The body is swept back for aerodynamics. Space Capable versions replace a great deal of the aeronautic internal systems with space internal systems, and a larger fuel supply for extended operation. These fighters are less agile in space, though the addition of a high velocity gyroscopic compensator quickly remedies that shortfall.
