Spank, the monkey goes bananas . It's so hard to find some decent bananas these days... . Ever since the 1960’s, now more than three centuries ago, monkey’s have been terribly outnumbered in the universe. Only one small group of space apes are cruising the constellations, in search of broken engines. For where there’s infinite space, there’s infinite malfunctioning machinery! Your hyper drive doesn’t hyper drive? Your landing gear just won’t retract no more? Is there a crack in your windshield? You can’t get it in reverse? In comes “The Monkey Wrench” for the rescue! Captain Spank and his ape engineers will have you fixed in no time! Just make sure you’ve got bananas to pay for the job… "The Monkey Wrench". As it is well known: she may not look like much, but she sure comes in handy if anything breaks down... The Captain: Spank. Two more apes on the lower bridge. Space ape engineers... The crew. Fourth wall commentary: This is my entry for Keith Goldman's "Fear for a black planet" Contest at CSF. A big thanks goes to my brother in law, Stefaan, for fotoshopping the main pic. And even more better pics are on the way! Leave a comment if you like what you see!
