We're Not Alone - Ep 5 - The Trap . The fifth installment in my sci-fi series "We're Not Alone" . Previously on We're Not Alone: Duncan and Ludwig fixed the solar panels and met up with Erik and Logan. They then met up outside the command bunker. The door was locked so they blasted it down. The came in to find a member of Delta Squad dead. The team then split up again. Ludwig and Logan would guard the entrance and Erik and Duncan would start sending information back to HQ, but they were stopped by a soldier in green.
"Who are you and why have you come here!?" the man in the green suit asked.
"My name is Erik, commander of Omega Squad and former General of the United States Army. Who are you?"
"My name is Samuel. I am former commander of Delta Squad. Why did you blow the door down?! They'll come! They're coming to kill us all!"
"Commander."
"I'd really love to sit here and question him, but we can do that later. We have a mission to do, and if he's saying is right about 'them' then we must hurry about our business."
"Yes, but he may be the clue in solving this strange puzzle. But, I get your point." Erik responded
"We must hurry!" Samuel excalimed.
"Samuel, my team and I have a mission to do. You may come with."
Logan and Ludwig had set up a little barricade using the crates and shrap metal.
They stood guard.
Then, Logan saw something.
"Woah, did you see that!?" Logan asked.
"See what?" Ludwig replied.
"You didn't see anything?"
"Oh..."
The men finally got to the security room.
"Duncan, I need you to start sending everything on that computer system back to base. Videos, pictures, files, everything."
Duncan took off his backpack,
and sat down in the chair.
Duncan turned on the massive system and big 360 degree interface appeared.
Erik turned to Samuel, "Samuel, do you see that fallen soldier?"
"Yes."
"You might want to switch the armor on your leg with the armor on that soldier's leg. If we go out into space, your leg will freeze up in no time."
"Good idea. I'll go try it on."
"Erik."
"Yes, Duncan? What's the situation?"
"I've started sending everything back to HQ. Should I contact our star ship?"
"Yes, go right ahead."
"Come in, U.S.S. Taurus, this is Red 4, come in, do you read?"
"Taurus, standing by, what's your situation Red 4?
"Sending Headquarters vital information. Stand by for extraction."
"Copy that. Sending in reinforced platoon."
"Red 4, out."
"There it is again!"
"Logan, you're seeing things. Clean your visor."
Samuel sat on the floor leaning up against the wall. He had already put the protective insulating black synthetic cloth.
Samuel slipped on the armor.
"Here let me help you."
"Thank you."
"How does it feel?"
"A little stiff. I think that's just because my leg still hurts."
"...Samuel...what happened to the rest, of your squad...?"
"Well, it's a long story-"
"Hold on, I've got a transmission coming through."
"Commander! He-p!" the transmission had interference, "We're under --tack by these mon--er thing-! Come-- quic-ly!- Die you son of a-yah-yah-die!! *Heavy breathing*-They've got razor sharp claws, strong skin, and they're fast! He--!"
"I've just received word that Ludwig and Logan are under attack, we must hurry!"
"Duncan, have the computer constantly sending information while we go help."
"Erik, Duncan, and Samuel came back to the spot where they had left Ludwig and Logan.
"What the heck is going on here? Looks like you've already made a mess of things..."
"We're under attack sir! They're hard to shoot at and they're skin or armor is almost impenetrable!-"
Ludwig interrupted,
"We've got another coming, what do we do?"
Erik paused for a second, "Blow the roof down!
"What?"
"No time for questions soldier, shoot the roof! That's an order!"
*Boom!*
'Ok, this buy us a little time. Now those things won't be able to get in through the main entrance. We'll climb out through the hole in the ceiling and get out here. We'll get onto the part of the roof that's stable and then we'll then contact our ship for extraction. Let's move!"
"Sir, my leg. I won't be able to climb that."
"Any volunteers?"
"I'll do it."
"Ok men, let's move!"
The commandos got up onto the roof.
They stood in aw.
The commandos stared at the charging creatures making horrible shrieking noises and the hundreds more off in the distance.
"Wow, We just walked into a trap. They wait for us to be not expecting anything and then they pounce."
"Rrrryyyyiikeeke!" "Commander!" "Ahhh!!!" One creature had climbed up the side of the building and jumped on Erik. Now the commandos didn't even think they would make it out alive. They were not alone.

Notes: Obviously WNA isn't supposed to come out on Tuesdays, but once again, life gets to ya'! It always is supposed to come out on Sunday, but I was just too busy. The first episode had only 20 images. This one had about 80+ so I had a lot more work to do and it's a little hard to keep track of.
I will be gone from Thursday-Saturday so there will most likely be no new episode this following Sunday. I will post a moc (Entry for a contest) or the "Meet the Characters" page that will introduce The Squad, Samuel, The President, The general, The monsters, and a few more important characters.
I'm excited for the next episode and I'm done planning out the entire series so it should be smooth sailing from here on out.
