Farmer John's last spray . This vignette tells the mysterious story of John, a farmer who lived in eastern Texas several years ago. . ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Meet John, the man of our story---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's an early sunday morning, and John is taking a walk through his fields. But what does he see there? His prize winning flowers are full of insects. As a proud Texan farmer he doesn't want all his flowers to be ruined by those pesky little creeps. That's why he brought a big spraycan of insecticide. But if he knew what would happen he would have left it at home... All of a sudden he heard the loudest buzzing noise he ever heard. "BuZZzzZzZzzzZzzzz" "bzzzzz" emerged from the sky. And then, when he looked up, he saw the biggest insect he would ever see." Howdy man, this sure is the son of ze Devil!" He yelled. He just stood there petrified of fear when the (behe)Moth got closer and closer. The beast was ruining his flowers, but John had other things to worry about. When the beast almost reached him, he started to spray insecticide for his life. Too bad the beast was resistant to it... Before he knew he was lifted off into the air. His hat fell off, but did not release his can of insecticide. At least for now... The next day, when his wife Margaret was searching for him, all she found was his hat, an empty can of insecticide and a little trace of blood. She knew she'd lost him... Nobody knows whether the beast took revenge for the insecticide, or it was just hungry. We all know John didn't survive this event. So you all better beware when you kill an insect... (Or leave a bad comment on this :p)
