Why?
The Revalence . . It's another spaceship. Credit for the name goes to someone named 2317 -High Marshal Blaze from this topic. Anyways, I was building it from all black pieces, and when it was almost finished, I decided it shouldn't be only one color. So, the addition of dark turquoise as a second color was done at the last minute. I think this MOC would be a lot better with a more interesting "wing" design and a less boxy general shape, but I guess it's worth a post the way it is. Besides, I've already taken it apart. By the way, the FOCB and the Wicked Wolf have just been updated with new pictures. Go have a look! This time with the landing gear down. I was considering making this one the main photo, but I decided to just include both of them. The pilot and navigator. Sorry if this picture looks foggy; I'm no expert at photo-editing. Front view. I'm not sure if it was a good idea to cover the front of the windscreen with grill tiles, but I didn't like all the plain studs either. Side view. Rear view. Those big gear pieces are useful for making engines. Underside, showing retracted landing gear and VTOL thrusters. The landing gear extended. The gates on the top of the ship provide some protection for the otherwise exposed greebles. I'm not very good at greebling, so I use mostly printed pieces. I would have really liked those door pieces to be black instead of dark gray, but I wasn't about to go to the trouble of placing a BrickLink order for just two parts. The cockpit (yes, Phipson, I said it) is made from this piece. This time without the minifigs.
