NCSH-OWA-HDS-V "One Winged Angel" . A new CMC entry, in the [full size], [space] categories. A CFS repair hardsuit used for heavy lifting, welding and other tasks in space. . I was high on three kinds of quasi-legal drugs while making this: squieu, David Rabadan, and the notorious Izmojuki. I highly recommend all three.
The NCSH-OWA-HDS-V "One Winged Angel" (Non-Combative Support Hardsuit, Omnidirectional Welding Apparatus equipped, Heavy Duty Space Variant) is a heavily armored hardsuit designed for out-of-atmosphere industrial applications. It uses it's large maneuvering assembly to position itself for whatever tasks need to be done.
The name comes partly from the massive welding rig, which when folded looks like a single wing. The term was coined by fighter pilots who's vessels were highly, but not irreparably, damaged. As they drifted through space, lost and helpless, they saw the mech coming towards them, a messenger of hope. Some even say it is the most beautiful thing they have ever seen. The fear and release of certain death, followed by that sudden flare of hope it caused led to the mech's nickname amongst such crews, the "Graceless Angel", which was later altered to make it sound more dignified.

1x O-UHL-PCAWR- Oversized Ultra-High-Latency Plasma Combination Airless Welding Rig, which is the mech's primary method of repairing spacecraft and other spaceborne objects. This welder uses plasma heat for binding materials, thus needing no oxygen to function.
