The Black Pearl . The Black Pearl is 109 feet long with a beam of 28 feet. Originally the East Indian Trading Company galleon The Wicked Wrench, she was burned and sunk, when Jack Sparrow refused to transport slaves for Culter Beckett. When Davy Jones raises her for Jack, he wants Jacks soul in return 13 years later. Jack recruits up to 200 crew members including William "Bootstrap Bill" Turner and Hector Barbossa. After 3 years Barbossa mutinies against Jack and Bill Turner is sent to the the locker for speaking out against Barbossa. 10 years later, Jack tricks Bills son, Will Turner into helping him get the Pearl back from his former, now cursed, crew. With Will's help he succeeds. Already been Captain Jack Sparrow for 13 years, Davy Jones wants Jack for 100 years of service aboard The Flying Dutchman. Refusing Jack runs, but in the end, he and the Pearl are sent to Davy Jones Locker. But Will Turner, Hector Barbossa, and Elizebeth Swann save him and the Pearl. And in the end, the Pearl defeats Davy Jones and the Flying Dutchman. Unfortunately, while Mr. Gibbs, Jacks first mate, is sleeping, and Jack is entertaining two floozies, Barbossa steals the Black Pearl again and Jack has to go aftir her all over again in a small Dinghy. .
