Fully Functioning Flintlock Pistol.
About this creation
This is my moc of a Pirate's Flintlock pistol. Its a bit of a hand cannon, and it shoots custom lego bullets made from two 2x2 domes with one stud stuck together with a pin. It is life sized, and fairly hefty. The tamper also pulls out and you can stick it down the barrel to "mock load" the gun. The gun has no form of bionicle launchers in it, and its firing mechanism is made from a Pahrak va Krana bed attached to the trigger. It pinches the bullet to fire. The flintlock drops and hits the striker plate when you pull the trigger.

It's great, but I think the 'tamper' is called a ramrod. Also, the flintlock is the name of the mechanism. When you pull the trigger, the FLINT comes down and hits the striker plate. I actually use these types of pistols to hunt deer! |

I should've built my entry in a larger scale, 'cause the multitudes of life-scaled guns and ballistas are sure to defeat me. This is certainly an interesting entry, complete with your signature 'cluttered-but-classy' look. Nice. |
