The Mindcorp Building
One of the more expensive buildings in the city was recently taken over by a company called Mindcorp. No one knows exactly what they do, not even Mindcorp's employees themselves.
About this creation

Only a few weeks after taking over the building, Mindcorp succeeded in registering it with the city as an official landmark under the name "The Mindcorp Building".

No one really knows what goes on inside the walls of the Mindcorp Building, not even Mindcorp's own staff it seems. For some reason there are always customers inside though.

The odd shape also allows two other modular buildings, following the Café Corner Modular Standard (or CCMS for short), to be coupled on.

A view from the back shows the CCMS coupling points. They are at the right height and distance apart for any CCMS building to be hooked up, both sides at an offset angle, allowing two streets in a V-shape to be added.

Detail view of the bus stop in front.

The floors are modular and come apart to see/reach inside and play with Mindcorp's employees and customers.

A view of what goes on inside the Mindcorp Building.

Some of Mindcorp's employees... Or customers, I really don't have a clue.

I've seen this one before on EB. It's amazing architecture, I specially like the corner with its unusual geometry (at least for LEGO). Really well done.

you have captured the style and shape of this type of corner building,I like the double gable on the dormer windows, I think I would have added a clock to the tower as in a bank or jewellers. but really I think it's perfect well done.

Really nice work. It also tops some of the Lego's standard models of this kind. Bravo!

Hey thanks for all the great comments everyone! :)
Quoting Johnnie B'Quick however, aren't u using a different base plate from the ones provided for cafe corner and green grocer ones? even though the coupling is there, we will have to change current base plates to lift it up slightly to join to this corner building? other than that, this is just great!!!! :D
In theory it should work ;) The first building coupled on to each side would have to be use a slightly different baseplate than usual though, because the regular Modular Buildings have 8 studs of baseplate sticking out the back, so that would overlap with the first building on each side, but after that they're fine. Basically that means the first building on each side would have to be built on a 16x24 baseplate instead of the normal 16x32. As far as the height goes, theoretically it should fit, but I haven't actually tried this yet ;)

I have enough trouble making a passable town building with boring old right angles. You're playing in a whole other league here.

Those typewriters are my favorite part! What a nifty little design, perfect fit! The lady in the back room in the interior photo looks like shes about to eat that cheese... slope. Great work! Quick question, what software or program (if any) do you use to create those stickers (Mindcorp, ignition energy drink, etc.) I'd like a way to create street signs and advertisement signs for my city and yours are the best I've seen. Anyways if you got a second I'd appreciate knowing, thanks!

Hij is fantastisch! Is het nog gebaseerd op 'n bestaand gebouw of is het puur verzonnen? Zowel een heel mooi bouwwerk als ook een erg leuk verhaal erbij.

This has got to be one of the best MOCs I've seen lately! The idea is great, but what really sets this one apart is the building's awesome shape! Definitely worthy of being a landmark building in any city, regardless of what it is that Mindcorp actually do behind those walls:)

excellent! the great thing about this corner building is its unique base shape so buildings can just extend out at an acute angle. however, aren't u using a different base plate from the ones provided for cafe corner and green grocer ones? even though the coupling is there, we will have to change current base plates to lift it up slightly to join to this corner building? other than that, this is just great!!!! :D

I love this! Did you know that Cafe Corner, Green Grocer and Market Street were created by fans? You should consider sending your creations to lego. People are going to start saying, "It's Mindcorp compatable!"

Interesting build. It reminds me of the Iron-works (or is it Flat-Iron?)building in New York City.
