Gallahad Rifle Knight Mech
Well, this is my second small scale mech MOC, and I'm pretty pleased with it for a 20 min. build time...
About this creation

Ok, fine, so the 20 minute build time was only by technicality; I just stripped Gideon of his armor and threw this armor together... Still, I'm pretty pleased with it.

So, to make this post, I had to steal two techniques; one, the Takafaashi rifle, two, the patented Shannon Young brick background.

So, as with my first small scale mech, Gideon, this one, Gallahad, was inspired by those Gods of the mechs, those known only as Izzo, Moko, Phong Chang, and Petecorp. Heh, maybe someday I can join their ranks... Just kidding, mine can't even hope to compare. (Not to mention my personal style being far too derivative. But whatever, they're still original enough to be considered my own design, and I enjoy building them, so I shall continue as such.)

Anyway, the image of Gallahad's armor came to me when I pryed off the back of my antique pocketwatch to repair it, and I thought that the awesome schema of the mesh of the gears cogs and cams would make a wonderful mech armor. While my Lego skill (or lack thereof) hindered the transition of idea to brick, I feel that the armor is fairly faithful to my mind's image of the armor.

Anyway, enjoy, rate, and comment...
No, seriously though, rate and comment.
DO IT!

Sweet!!! The "Controller of Time and Space" would be a good name for a pocket watch mech. LOL! Also could you possibly post your basic frame for your smaller mechs? I know you did it with your larger frame. |
