Gideon Assault Mech
Well, I saw the mechs by Petecorp and Phong Chang and Izzo and Moko, and I decided to make my own tiny mecha using my own frame.
About this creation

So, I decided to make the frame entirely from scratch. It took me about 1.5 to 2 hours, but I personally feel that it was worth it. I am, however, kind of annoyed that it used up all of my little T-bars (I forget their proper name). Still, the frame is completely original, fully articulated, and, surprisingly, rather playable.

The armor on this guy was just some armor I threw together pretty quickly to see how my frame looked when it was armored to the point of being an actual finished mech. However, I kind of liked the way it looked, so I tweaked it a bit, and now I love it. I especially love the opening photo.

He's about 2.5 minifigs tall, and is to minifig scale. (Obviously, no, the minifig does not fit inside. I guess he runs on A.I. or something of the sort.)

Anyway, enjoy, rate, and comment. My dear Gideon waves you farewell. (Make sure to comment, though, lest Gideon come and annoy your MOCs.)

Quoting Thomas Andrews Nice, the feet are a little small, but, nice!
Thanks! Loved your Zeus Exo-suit by the way. I was amazed by the last pic; "Holy CRAP! The minifig actually fits inside!? AWESOME!"

Nice! I love how pose-able you made it, and the colors and armaments are good too.

Quoting Areetsa C T-bar is as good a name as any for that part. While imitating the masters is good, to a point, deliberately forcing yourself to do something is not. Find what you are good at, and stick with it. The odd forced outing is vital, but not to the point you do nothing else.
Yeah, thing is, I've always done mechs, because mechs are what I'm good at. This mech, while a new mech building style for me, is not a forced outing, nor is it outside of my comfort zone. This is what I'm good at, which is why I'll stick with it.
