Mattropolis
Yeah, a bunch of tiny buildings....
About this creation
The city of Mattropolis, located on the recently developed planet of Solus . This is only the downtown section of the city.

one of the main power-plants on the planet. How come a powerplant is in the middle of downtown you ask? As it happens running power from the plant down to the sea floor then back up to the buildings happens to be very expensive.

The Mattropolis spaceport. Although the transports are few in number the passanger capacity per each balnces it out, IT'S OVER NINE THOUSAND!!!! (some of you may get this, I do not)

The Mattropolis shopping center. Relatively small for a mall, but what it loses in size it makes up for in class. You won't find a single item in the place that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

This building belongs to a greedy corporation made up of a bunch of grossly overpaid stuffed suits and led by a selfish money-hungry miser who named himself "emperor". I will mention no names to avoid lawsuits.

The Green Olive. Looks like one of the customers had a little to much "bottled Joy" and tried his fire-spitting act.....again.....

The Hat Shop. The planets largest hat dealer. You want an african medicine-man headdress complete with real toe bone ornaments? They got it. Looking for a plain blue baseball cap? Ummm they'll get back to you on that.

Here stands The Spiral Hotel. Not THE most expensive place to lay your head (Maybe a close third) but still a lot of people prefer it over others. The top floor is reserved only for the most important of persons, if you haven't ruled a country or own an entire planet then your just not important enough.

The Secret Service building of Solus. Why is it in the middle of a city standing out like a sports jock at a Lego convention? Well they built the building before anybody else got there based on a piece of anonymous information that told them it would be a highly secluded region due to rabid sea spiders. Apparently somebody has a sick sense of humor.(yes, we are all staring at you Kelso)

The Grand Dutch hotel. Every room has a TV and each can receive between 10 and 15 thousand channels and it's almost vermin free!(unless you count the staff...)

Here lives the builder of one of the largest cities ever built. The name escapes me at the moment but I think it starts with shan...shanno...no I lost it.

The Ruby Palace. The ritziest restaurant on the planet. If you can afford to eat there more than twice yearly you must be among the galaxies 100 richest persons.

The Dojo (As it is commonly called). Actually nobody knows exactly what it is, most believe it to be some type of mystic temple of the lost arts or just another secretive cult. Whatever the case itís shrouded in mystery and any who go in planning to find out whatís inside and finally reveal the mystery always come out and never say a word.

Ahhhh the suburb, so tranquil and clean. This is actually the most exclusive suburb on the planet, only five houses total and the occupants of every one of them has to undergo an EXTREMELY thorough background search. Oh and they also have to have a net worth of over a billion dollars.

Creators Comments:
I've never built a micro city before so this has been interesting. I suppose you might not be able to call it an entire "city" I'm still proud of myself *pats self on back*.
I must say I did enjoy building it and another joy was naming and giving discriptions of all the buildings (I imagine YOUR getting kind of tired of that aren't you MR. Young?).
If there's anything I've forgoten PLEASE keep it to yourself. ; )
And now on to greater things!

Quoting lego maniac BTW, about the over 9000 thing it is from Dragon Ball Z like everyone else said. Vegeta said it to describe Goku's power level. But I wouldn't go around saying it if you're not a DBZ fan.
Don't worry, I don't plan to ;). "And with that our hero never said "It's over nine thousand!" again"

I really like the shape of some of the buildings and the techniques you used to build them. BTW, about the over 9000 thing it is from Dragon Ball Z like everyone else said. Vegeta said it to describe Goku's power level. But I wouldn't go around saying it if you're not a DBZ fan.

Haha, I guess I missed this when it came out. Good stuff! I certainly fits well into the LIU Universe!

I love the yellow building, and the fact that all the buildings are platforms on a water world breaks it out of the tired old "gridwork of city blocks" mold.

I'll give a 4 because this is kind of common, y'know, the Space, the cylinders, stuff like such. Well, it is in the random folder! I suggest you do some real buildings.

Well apparently it's from some dialogue from a TV show called Dragon Ball Z. When it was uploaded to YouTube it became very popular and people started saying it all the time. I think they call that a "meme".

Quoting Nate Bush Nice work with this microcity! All of the buildings are interesting in their own way, but I think my favorite one might be the twisted orange tower. I can explain the "over nine thousand" thing if you want, but it's not really a joke.
