About this creation
The Guardian is a medium-sized escort and transport vessel.
This ship began it's deveploment when I saw Daniel Jassim's Starship Explorer. I figured a pretty babe like that, needs a proper escort.
Building began in january 2005. It took my about 4 weeks to finish and another 2 months of fine-tuning. After that I had to wait for a decent camera. The model is 128 studs long, 68 studs wide and weighs about 9 kilograms.
I tried to build in as much playabilaty as I could. But at 9 kg, it lost it a bit of it's swooshness. It features retractable landing gear, airlocks, blastdoors, turrets and removeable roofpanels.
EDIT: Meh, did something and now all the links to the other pics are gone. Cba to do them again, so here's the meta-link: Guardian

0 1in 1997 a girl called lauren was walking through the forest and then she just disappeared. No one ever found her until 2000 when a young girl called Mary found her body and markings on her chest saying: I wasnt' pretty enough and now that you have read this she will appear in your mirror saying you're not pretty enough and kill you. By the way the girl called mary<3 died shortly afterwards. To be saved, paste this to five other bands. This is true. Now that you have started reading this, please do not stop. This is so scary. Post this on 5 pages in 143 minutes. When you are done, press F6 and your crushes name will appear on the screen in big letters. This is scary because it actually works |

Lots of neat details, like the retracting landing gear, turrets and internals make this a great moc. The overall shape is pretty cool too. If I had the legos I'd love to build something like this. Very very cooooll!!!! to infinity and beyond....... |

If there were infinite number of smilies, I'd select that. Your model is incredible, just incredible. Although I disagree on one thing. I don't like it as a transport-type ship. If it was instead a miniscale of a massive battleship then it would be awesome. Like the USS Enterprise models are a bit smaller than that. That could be miniscale just as those USS Enterprises are miniscale of the real USS Enterprise. Other than that man, the turret is perfect, the design is awesome, I like where u put the cockpit, the curves are perfect, the engines could be bigger, like 3 massive engines but other than that man, this is the best model on MOCpages. Visit my page sometime :) |

Great job! I don't really like the overall shape, but it's big and detailed enough that it gets a five anyway. You didn't do anything wrong, I just don't fall for sleek, rounded stuff. Anyway, good job, keep 'em comin'!

Everything in this ship is simply perfect. This
is actually (from my point of view) the best ship on the MOC pages. Every single details, from cockpit to entrance and gun, are simply
remarquable. |

If those nasty castle/train dudes come up from the rear, I fear only ART will survive and flee from the debris of what was once an excellent ship! Great hull-shape, Subtle greebling in the right places, and very - VERY! - snot. The poor sphere of action cannot diminish the 5 smileys! |

This is without a doubt my favorite SHIP from Zemi's shipyard (with Chris Giddens' LL-X2 Vanguard a close second). This MOC single-handedly made me attempt to build a SHIP of my own (although my own largest creation is only 64 studs in length). Bravo! |

Saying "I'm impressed!" would be an understatement, but I'll say it anyway. Very good and impressive MOC. I like all the great detail you have put into this, especially the interiors. Now, on to page 2! ~Regards, Matt |
