Synthetic Muscle Environmental Body Armour - SMEBA.
Battle armour suit composed of synthetic muscle, improving soldier strength and endurance while providing limited ballistic protection. Over this layer is worn ceramic plates for increased ballistic protection. Lastly, oversized combat uniforms are worn with standard tactical vests for stowage of ammunition, rations and tools.
The helmet provides a targeting array and communication links between other members of the section and the Cerberus tank. On the back is worn a propulsion system capable of limited flight over short distances, a conventional ruck sack, or long-range communication pack.

I love this whole series! I just wish that lego would endorse military stuff and then I could by some of these awesome creations. |

Thanks. Your right that trans-orange color is horrible. I did see that they had those visors in red and I thought it would look cool if you made a S.M.E.B.A. urban-camo trooper. |

These are normally in trans-neon orange (yeech!). I painted mine Testors flat olive drab.
There's a new version in metalic silver without the antenna. |

Alright, thanks Brad! Great work painting those visors, they look awesome. I've been wishing that they would make those in another color for a long time, and they brought back the Rock Raiders helmet, so maybe there's hope. |

Judging:
Weapons: Weapons are brickarms, which fits into this MOC very well. Good choices for them. I still would like more ownmade weapons. 4,5/5
Colours: Not the right and normal UNE colours, but for desert troopers like this, colours are nice! 4/5
Details: Nice suits, and the visors are great! Flight pack is nice addition. Legs are nice! 5/5
Overall Look: Nice looking minifigs, these could be UNE desert corps. Nice details and customed parts are nice! 5/5
So, it is 18,5/20! Good work!

Thanks! Yes, the visors were painted OD green. Lego, in a baffling move only Danes must understand, chose to release the coolest minifig visor in transparent neon orange and red only. I could not let my troopers dress like Las Vegas show girls and so painted the visors a more respectable colour. |
