Julio*, Knight of the Broken Cross
*pronouced Hu-leo. A legendary knight.
About this creation
My best Edz MOC to date. His Ed is a small stone skull that my dad named Julio. Because the skull is not attached to the body, just sitting on it, balance was crucial. He was made using my MOCs Tyr, Atlas, and spare parts. The goal was to create a MOC that looked like a powerful warrior.

Julio was a knight that was unjustly banished from his kingdom by a corrupt king for attempting to overthrow him. He wandered the world for many years before returning to his land hoping that it had changed for the better. What he saw horrified him. What was once a beautiful country had been reduced to a wasteland of ruins, death, and blood. As he stumbled towards the remains in a stupor of terror, he came across a wary band of merchants.
Julio: I have been away for a long time, what has happened here?
Merchant leader: Make yourself at home, for it is a long tale.

The banishment of Sir Julio of the Broken Cross was the beginning of it all. The people, horrified by the king’s actions, hardened their hearts against the king and his corrupt court in hatred. They planned a coup d'état in secret. What started the chain of violence and destruction was the murder of the king on a moonless night three years after Julio was exiled. The merciless son of the king was crowned king. Yet his court became afraid of the peasants, and hired mercenaries to keep the populace in check. But it was too late to stop the inevitable. The people revolted. The war became known as The Endless Revolution because neither side has gained any ground. The one reason why the people have not won yet is because they have no leader to lead them. Without a leader, they do not have a chance at obtaining victory. What they need is a knight. What they need is Sir Julio of the Broken Cross.

Julio: My banishment caused all this?
Leader: Your banishment? That…that means…that means y-y-you must be Sir Julio of the Broken Cross. But how?
Julio: I always planned to return. But in hopes that it would be a better place. I now know that I am needed for that to happen. I shall lead the people.

Julio searched for the base of the people, and revealed his identity unto them. He led them to victory in many battles. Rumor began to spread through the court that he was back. The court begun to scheme his demise. They sent an assassin to kill him, but he killed the assassin. The people begun to prepare for the final, bloodiest battle. The battle to take the castle. It would not be easy, but they were not afraid. For they were led by Julio. The battle lasted for over a year before the event that ended it happened. In a duel between Julio and the king’s son. Both received grievous wounds during the intense combat. Julio knowing that if he were to end it, he would have to end it now. The instant the king’s son let his guard down, Julio clasped one of his swords with both of his powerful hands and severed the cruel prince’s head from his body with such force that the head was thrown a great distance from his body. The court, seeing that their king was dead, surrendered to the people and they (the court) were executed. Julio was crowned king and begun to rebuild his kingdom back to its former glory. He succeeded after ruling fairly for many years, and when he died, a great monument that could be seen all throughout the glorious land was erected in his honor.

Wow, what an epic story! That's quite the build you've got going there. I particularly like the curvy, graceful look of the twin blades. Great job!

The story is good. To me it seems like a cross over of King Arther and Robin Hood, basically great story.
