This is superb. Really, really neat. The steering and engine are particularly good and the Lambo doors are a great touch. I love it! |

This is beautiful!! Your best yet! The engine is remarkably realistic, with great seamless design! The body of the hot rod itself is amazing! I am speechless! How did you get the doors to open like that? I have never been able to figure out how people do that... |

Looking good! And i love the air-intakes, for cooling the brakes or wathever, hey, this is Lego;)
Glory be! SOMEBODY finally liked my air intakes! I mean, the Corvette Zo6 has air intakes for the rear brakes! And if this is a dragster like I kind of made it to be, then it doesn't use the brakes much, but still, I like them, and you like them, therefore they are sweet. Thank you for your support. |

Nice hot rod. Fact: the back seat in that hotrod has more legroom than an Austin martin DB9. |

The Pipes on mine are just 1x1 round bricks with the stud placed into the technic holes in the sides of 1x4 bricks. then slid a peice with one end that has a stud with a 1 stud long round axle thingy on the other in the bottom of the 1x1 Rround bricks. I think ill try to add some gears/wheels/pullies things on the fron of my Engine, but there is a 6 long M-Motor under it(the engine just covers it up). there is only a super small gear on the motor so i think i can put some gears/wheels/pullies things to overlap the front of the motor. ill play around with it. my Receiver and Lights will should be on their way, so hopfully ill have it finished product up late next week.
i wish i had pipes like you have on your engine... |

Thanks for the comment, I was looking at this again and noticed that the Air Vents to the rear breaks cover up the black stripe. I think it would look better if you could raise them up to show those. you commented on the color, i think for mine, that was the best wait to go, and i wanted to do something challenging, so an off-set stripe was what i came up with, but i think this in Red and Black is perfect. youre right about my engine tho, i wish i could get it to look more realistic than it is, but th most realistic engine i have is only 5wide with a blower out the hood of a muscle/drag car. i have pictures of it but i cant get them to upload *grr*. if you didnt see the V4-WIP, Im working on an RC set-up for it using Power Functions. ill try to add more detail to the engine in the process. i wish i had more wire/hose-like peices like silver or even black rope peices with studs at the ends. those would be really helpfull. if you have any ideas for the engine(i cant make it any bigger by the way), i would love to hear them. |

This is excellent! Actually your best yet! I love it! Only I think it looks a little too modern for a hot rod. Try losing the air scoope, spoiler, etc. Anyways it still looks great! I love that engine! And if you're thinking of improving, I'd suggest redesigning the front grill. Overall, great work! You really impressed me with this one :D |

Sweet! It's all kinds of crazy awesomeness packed into one car! The only thing better than those lambo doors is that highly detailed engine. Nice work all around. (btw, I like the shot where it's popping a wheelie) I'm glad I could make it to your list of favorite builders! |

This is great! A really really good job. Why? Because it looks like an actual Hot Rod; the bodywork is close to 1930's design, even with the Lambo doors, the engine is fantastically detailed and everything is in proportion. Extra smilies for the working steering and realistic interior : ) The only thing I really don't like is the air intake at the back (the engine is at the front so it wouldn't do anything) but a brilliant creation. 8.5/10 : ) |
