This is my first construction journal entry of my work in progress- An Aurora Class Ship. It is going to be about 6 or seven feet long and is my second attempt at a SHIP if you count Atlantis, which is still a WIP and probily always be( YAY for never ending projects) Anyways this is just a prototype design for the Aurora and will be outdated after i get some more bricks. LEAVE ANY ADVICE IF YOU HAVE ANY. And it is going to be color coded to Grey, Black, and Brown. i will use multicolors for the supports and where greebles will be to cover it up. I am going not to spend alot of money on this as i am only 14 so i dont have a very big bugdet at times.

I have did this section yesterday. However my brother noted to me that this was a the rate i was going to be a very big ship and becuase my room is about 12 by 8 it was going to take up almost a tewlve not counting my Atlantis which makes it immpossible to walk in a part of it. So i tore this aprt and made it slightly smaller and i will be posting it later on today. Another thing for the back section by the engines i was wondering if it would be alright if i used your method with the 1x2 tiles as lego does not make the proper peices for doing this. Thanks.

Yeah whens it done i am going to mount in my building area on the ceiling using fishing string or somthing. And i might make it minifig compatable in some areas. However i am considering downsizing it a little bit from six to maybe five feet making it a little less expensive.

Looks awesome so far! And as far as the brown goes, you should use it more for like rust effects, to make the ship look like it's really old.
