I make all of the decals myself. It is a very extensive process of finding good pictures of the real trains, re-creating the decals digitally, matching the color of the brick, and sizing them correctly. I usually spend 8 to 10 hours on decals alone.

Awesome, what a beast! Love the front, and it looks so mighty 8-wide... One of the best Lego engines I´ve seen. The only problem with 8-wide American-style train engines always seems to be playabilty (concerning minifigs)- like there aren´t working doors etc., which is sad but I know it´s a compromise for the purpose of realism. Anyways, great job! Steffen
