About this creation
Here is Ross Neal's fanciful "mini layout", another MOC he built in his prolific 12th year. Since the TCLTC layout is still under construction, Ross asserts that *this* is the first TCLTC layout-- so there you have it!


It's actually pretty complicated, and is animated by using a pneumatic hose running around pulleys which were then geared to a 9 volt motor. I can't really say anything more about it, because I am not even sure about all of the mechanics. He builds them and I just take the pics!

Brilliance. I could list off all the things I especially like about it, but it's probably too long. It looks extremely realistic too, especially the use of all those clear plates to create the layer effect. And I love the idea of how you created a double yellow line by using the grill tiles...awesome. I'd love to see a larger layout like this!
