A cool little chess set with "marble" faces, non-minifig pieces, and a pull-out drawer for the pieces.
About this creation
My first good LEGO chess set. One of my best MOCs, and if I do say so myself, one of the better chess MOCs out there.

An amazing chess set. Although the pic of the 'checkmate', it's not. The rook can move up to beside the king to buy him one more move at life.

Your love for your knights is not misplaced. They are indubitably the best I have seen at this scale, or at least the best I remember seeing.
