Mestrovic Pavilion
Art museum in Zagreb, Croatia
About this creation

Famous building in Zagreb, Croatia, my home town.

It's an art galery called by the name of the sculptor who designed it - Ivan Meštrović. People from Zagreb know it by the name Džamija, which means mosque in Croatian.
It was converted into a mosque during the World War II, and then became an art museum again in the post-war Yugoslavia.

Taken from Wikipedia.

Model is made in approximatelly 1:100 scale.

Pure abstract brilliance. I know it's real building, but it feels abstract in it's purity.
