Here it is! A Samus figure of my design. I've seen alot of pretty good-looking Samus figures around here, but most of them use custom pieces. I've used only official Lego pieces. I used the BrickFa technique, which involves inserting antenna pieces into the arm sockets and at the bottom of the torso. That's meat for the big shoulders and forearms. I think I'm the first to do this. Samus' shoulders are bigger than this, but I still think it's a nice effect. I don't like the feet. I'd use orange dragon teeth if I had them. The colors are obviously not exact, but I did what I could with what I had.
The metroids are also my own design. I'm very happy with them, and I'd be surprised if a better metroid could be made at this scale. Those are Insectoid helmets, by the way.
Very nice, I love the creative use of pieces! I have a similar Metroid design, feel free to check it out (on my Samus creation page). Great job!
Update: Ha, I just saw your comment. I was searching other Samus creations and found yours. What a coincidence!
sweet! ima big fan of metroid prime. I like the idea for the arms. also the metroid design is good. I am working on a federation trooper, I have gotten the gun design but not the trooper. Man, im such a big metroid prime fan I based an MOC off it! check it out
Thank you! I've had LEGO's around pretty much my whole life, but I've never been great at MOC's. That was always my brother's department, but I think I've found my niche with BrickFa figures. I have a few more I plan on uploading.
