Special Forces/Marine Mech
My... third mech MOC... God, I have boring intros...
About this creation

Well, this is my third mech MOC (yeah, I know redundant and repetetive), and he's probably my second favorite of my mechs so far. He is also the tallest so far. Yep, just like the others, he has 15 points of articulation, and is flexible and stable enough to hold a gun. Which is a chaingun. Yes, a chaingun, not a "super-duper mega gattling cannon 9-kajillion" or something like that, which too many MOC creators would, woefully, be totally willing to use as a name. It is JUST a chaingun. Get over it.

Originally, I set out to build a mech to repair other mechas (medic bot? repair bot?), but in the process, I bulked him up too much, decided that he actually looked better like that, called him a marine, gave him a hastily assembled weapon, and called it a day.

The head took forever. I know, I know, it's so simple, but I went through many previous, far crappier incarnations before arriving at this beautifully simple head. I love it.

Before any of you ask, yes, the powerplant on the back is pretty much just a modified version of the V8 one in the lego factory car set.

OH MY GOD! I actually wrote more stuff than I have photos! IT'S A MIRACLE!

Well, now that that is over with, enjoy.

I like this one quite a bit, however the head kinda bugs me. Better than what I can do though. The gun's epic.

Quoting Areetsa C In my opinion futuristic special forces should not use mecha/hardsuity things, being limited to power armour as the extreme upper end. However, this has come out as the best of all your currently posted models, not counting the nonexistant backstory. I could probably give you a little help in the description area, should you want it.
Well, to adress both the issue of it being a bit large for special forces and the issue of backstory, my fictional military, the Demiurg Coalition, uses mechs for the majority of its purposes. This is my backstory excuse for being allowed to build a mech for every facet of an army.
