My first Victorian house built of Lego, inspired by the San Francisco "painted ladies" and LegoLand California's San Francisco section in Miniland.
About this creation

Here I've tried breaking a larger photo into two pieces, to see if I can get more detail in the enlargements.
I've included this to show an early version of the decorations on the gable compared to the "final" version. I refined the framing around the window and lightened up the whole top section by removing a layer of white bricks, replacing them with the white corner panels outlining the tan band.
And here it is, at home on my mantle. I plan on adding two more to make a street front.

Yes, Mike, all pieces are original, un-modified LEGO, *including* the cloth pieces, which are from the girls' Scala and Belville LEGO lines. I did not use even custom printing on anything - all are standard. Those that are not currently in production were obtained from BrickLink.com

can anyone tell me...are all these victorian houses built from original un-modified lego pieces? (except for maybe the cloth materials) thanks

Each one of your Victorian houses is SO lovely... just can't get enough of them! We're getting the Market Street soon, mostly because we've wanted to build this one in Modular Sets-scale for sooooo long. Hope you wouldn't mind that...
In any case, I hope you keep on building these wonderful models. They're absolutely gorgeous! |

Really well done! It reminds me of the LEGOLAND CA victorians from "The Ultimate LEGO Book". What did you use to make the large clear sections of window? (A large piece of clear plastic? Or is that a 6x6 trans brick of some kind?)
Thank you! That's part number 59349, a Trans-Clear Panel 1 x 6 x 5:

Awesome house. The level of detail is incredible. The only thing I didn't like, is that the 'Comments' section is full of ''I made it'' comments. If we don't count that -which we sure wont- it's almost flawless. |

Just beautiful! Love the "gingerbread" details! It does remind me a lot of the San Francisco section of Miniland at the park in California. |

That's fantastic, it looks like some of the pieces came from the taj mahal set. Great MOC. |
