This is a TIE Fighter I made for the Star Wars Weekend at Legoland California on April 30-May 1, 2005. The wings are 15 inches tall and the cockpit ball is twenty studs in diameter. I will add the cockpit details and a pilot soon. This model is slightly larger than miniland scale (I estimate).
Nice job! Apparently, the TIE fighters were supposed to be blue like the lego sets have, but blue screen technology rendered them invisible! So they were changed to grey. Also: I dig the screenshot from Empire at War.
this is quite possibly the best tie fighter moc on this entire website. no joke. when i saw the pic on the top, i thought that it was one of those c.g. reference pics that everyone uses from the internet. that's how good this is. i didn't think this was real at first. wow. so... how much do you want for it?
