Many years in the making - each brick was spray-painted in layers to look like stone. Perched on an outcropping of stone in the Sea of Mysteries, it can only be reached by water vessels. It is rumored that flying machines are being developed as the royal family includes a lovely daughter, Alexandria, who is quite prone to sea-sickness.
I can't believe I've never seen this before. I also can't believe the number of likes on this. Should be much higher. This is one of the best original castles I've seen on this site. All of the spires that you included on this just look gorgeous. And nice job on the spray-painting, really gives it a nice effect. The purists may have something to say about it, but the true artist can appreciate such a dedication to greatness. Well done.

on't have the right color, spray it. haha. I know its frowned upon, but I have done it before(though only with black for roof pieces). But now I discovered ebay and bricklink.
Yes! This was in the days just before Liberty Green came out, and I had a lot of really old beat-up bricks from the 60's. With all the other newer colors now, I don't spray paint anymore - plus it disqualifies you from any offical stuff!
