A smart modern house for an upwardly mobile lego couple

About this creation

This is a smart modern house for an upwardly mobile lego couple. Built in light yellow, it has unusual windows, a garage, balcony, and a smart designer garden. The pool has it's own changing house, and there is a brick-built barbecue for parties. A wooden arch over a bench provides a pleasant place to sit and admire the luxurious foliage planting. This is a good wildlife garden, with a small pond, a birdbath, a birdtable complete with peanut feeders, and a nestbox.

By the way, are there actually stairs coming down from the balcony? (you cant see them from any of the pictures :|) Also, does the house have guts (floors) inside, or is it hollow :P

I'm glad you like it - it was my first ever MOC, and mainly built as a house to put a garden around. Yes, there are stairs down from the balcony, but there is no interior.

If you aren't already, I suspect that architecture or a career as a designer will be in your future. I would have thought more villa-ish rather than house, but brilliant design at any rate. Lee.

Where'd you get the light yellow bricks? That baffles me! This is fantastic! And like Samson said, it does look a bit like my dad's friend's house! Fabulous job!

Man, I really wish i had more plain brick peices so I could build something this cool. most of my peices are those more complex peices that can only be used in one or two ways. if this was a boxed LEGO set, i'd buy it!
