The Siege of Elsweyr
Deep in the empty desert a band of crusading nobles lay siege to a castle that had seemed abandoned when they first approached, but appears to be garrisoned by some most unusual inhabitants. This is an entry for the CCCVI Siege category.
About this creation

Close-up of the mummies and skeletons on the defense tower and their half decayed mangonel. Surely that thing won't work anymore.

A group of crusading archers had taken position on a hill above an abandoned mine entrance to get a better shot at their enemies on the walls. Big mistake!

The siege tower used by the crusaders to get onto the walls of Elsweyr.

Some of the minifigs duking it out in this siege scene.

Cool! I really like the wall design and, like mentioned, the roof over the walkway. Down in the crowd of attackers, somebody's goin "Hey, hey is that my daughter up there??! I thought she was grounded!" lol

Quoting Tom Simon Nice. So do the fallen crusaders become future defenders?
I hadn't really thought of that, that's a cool idea. With every battle the defenders win, their force grows :)

A great diorama/scene! Perfect in my opinion, not so much going on that it's confusing, but loads of detail where the action is :) Brilliant!

Glad I don't live around there. I'd be sure to have an arrow around. I like the colors. Very nice. And those tiles over the walls are an interesting thing but they make sense. When it's raining arrows you want a wooden umbrella. see ya. garth
