Shuttle Happy Box
A smuggling vessel.
About this creation

COMPLETED -- 01/06/2009

The shuttle Happy Box is piloted by two notorious smugglers. Their names are Snauglir and Tanandra. The two of them met in a prestigious privet school when they were young, were separated when Tanandra's family mysteriously moved to a truly backwater Planet called Pukbar, met up on a medical frigate where Snauglir was interning and Tanandra was dying because a Doctor with a grudge had been giving her the wrong treatment and slowly killing her so Snauglir KO'd half the staff and stole the correct medicine and an emergency shuttle. Naturally they transformed the emergency shuttle into the Happy Box and have been smugglers ever since. Here they are with a stolen shipment of Old Earth artifacts that are sure to bring a hefty profit.

The Happy Box has been so aggressively modified that it is unrecognizable from the shuttle it used to be. The chief upgrade is a Mark 515 Long Range Cruiser Class engine. Besides that, hidden missiles and a laser turret help ward off undesirables.

The Happy Box was a blast to build and detail... someday, SOMEDAY I'll build something larger and SHIPier.

<<<<Awesome. I love the asymetry and colors. Also excellent work on the greebles. Neither too much nor too little.....
this being one of my favorite smuggling ships on MOCpages, I'd like to invite you to the brand new Consolidated Space Freighters http://www.mocpages.com/group.php/7272 group. no pressure of course, but I'd love to see it represented.

For being a 'boxy' ship, it sure is a good one!

Quoting Frankus (AKA Blahnoc) Shape is very interesting and I love the orange with dark bley. I'd like to see more like this.
I do believe that Snauglir found an awesome present for Tanandra... in other words, the Happy Box is getting some backup. Thanks for the comments everyone!

This is great, I love the shape, seems to suggest some what of a DIY ship not a mass produced one which a smugglers ship is more likely to be

Great little ship, though I don't think the landing gear quite fits in with it's boxy nature. I really like the front corner with the orange bits, and also the orange construction bin on the top with the vents hidden inside, makes it look like a flying refrigerator the owners decided to armor.

I love the unusual design of the ship...but that one orange smuggler dude is to die for!

This is the sort of ship that I can just imagine flying around, it has a nice mix of fantasy and believeability.

This is great! It joins the ranks with Ludgonius' stuff for "successful box-shaped ships." Usually that kind of form doesn't work, but I think this one pulls it off nicely. Some cool details througout, and I love the color work! Good job.

It's a little... boxy for my taste, but I can't criticize your technique. My favorite little detail is the interlocking clamps on the front of the ship, opposite the cockpit.

Man I love your parts usage. Interesting boxy spin on your usually more organic and intricate designs. No less enjoyable though.

Let me be the first to give you five stars on both a pair of fantastic minifigs and a great shuttle. The color scheme is great. Also, asymmetry FTW!
